Founded in 2006 as Ikaros Solar by Belgian entrepreneur Yves Devis, Radiance Energy originated as a residential PV EPC contractor. The company expanded into commercial and industrial photovoltaic solutions, serving clients including IKEA, DHL, Tesla, and Philips. In late 2021, global investment group Eurazeo acquired an 80% stake, becoming sole owner in 2024 through its infrastructure fund. The company has since transitioned to become a leading independent power producer specializing in photovoltaic solutions. With a strong European presence and diverse team from nearly 20 nationalities, Radiance Energy operates across multiple countries. The company manages every stage of the photovoltaic value chain, delivering seamless project execution with expertise in site identification, feasibility studies, design, engineering, procurement, construction, and long-term operations and maintenance. Radiance Energy is committed to driving Europe's shift to a zero-carbon energy sector and aims to exceed 500 MWp of operational solar PV plants by 2030. The company also plans to integrate battery storage systems to improve grid stability and energy reliability.
