Founded in 1993, Renfin is a private headquartered in Prague, Czech Republic specializing in Hydro.

Renfin International a.s. is a Prague-based investment holding specializing in small and medium-sized hydroelectric power plants (HPPs). The company has over 30 years of experience in hydropower development, having worked on more than 50 small hydro projects worldwide. Renfin acquires, develops, and invests in hydropower projects in geographically and regulatory diverse regions with suitable hydrological conditions and governmental support. The company maintains a portfolio of more than 30 operational hydropower plants with dozens of additional projects under construction or development. Renfin cooperates closely with HYDROPOL Group, which brings over 20 years of experience in design, engineering, construction, and operation of small to medium-sized HPPs. Key projects include installations on the Manchester Ship Canal (Eastham, Irlam), Woolston, and Netherlock in England, as well as developments in Scotland, with support from the Czech Republic Development Agency for projects in Kenya and East Africa.
