The organization provides advocacy, policy support, financing services, capacity-building, and training to help communities develop sustainable energy projects. REScoop.eu promotes energy democracy by shifting from centralized fossil fuel systems to decentralized renewable energy production and distribution, ensuring citizens remain at the heart of the energy transition. The organization applies the 7 cooperative principles in its daily practice and holds seats on the boards of Cooperatives Europe and other cooperative ventures.
