Samorka

Samorka is a renewable energy company headquartered in Reykjavík, Iceland specializing in Hydro, Geothermal, Wind.

Samorka is the Icelandic association of energy and utility companies. Its members operate hydropower, geothermal, district heating, electricity distribution, water supply and wastewater utilities. The association represents the sector in policy and regulatory matters, coordinates European and Nordic cooperation, and promotes renewable energy and utility security and resilience. Iceland's electricity is almost entirely generated from renewable sources.
