Founded in 2023, Solar2030 is a ngo headquartered in Munich, Germany with approximately 1-10 employees specializing in Solar.

Solar2030 e.V. is a voluntary, non-profit organization founded in March 2023 with the goal of advancing the energy transition from below through concrete actions and projects. The association focuses on increasing acceptance of renewable energies and providing support and consultation in photovoltaic systems for all. Core activities include promoting balcony power plants (plug-in solar devices), tenant electricity models for apartment buildings, and community engagement. The organization operates a volunteer neighborhood assistance program for planning, selection, installation, and commissioning of balcony solar systems. They conduct webinars, public information events, and operate a community solar camp. Solar2030 works independently from manufacturers and partnered with other volunteer associations, the Munich Building Center, and is a member of the German Plug-in Solar Association.
