The organization is structured as a citizens' energy cooperative (Bürger-Energie-Genossenschaft) with a diverse, politically neutral founding team including architects, engineers, economists, and business professionals. The cooperative prioritizes local energy generation to minimize transmission losses, reduce grid stress, and provide residents and businesses with affordable renewable electricity.
