The Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership is a dynamic collaboration of government and philanthropic partners working to accelerate sustainable energy transition in Southeast Asia. Hosted by the United Nations Office for Project Services, ETP operates across Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand. The organization focuses on four strategic outcomes: policy alignment with climate commitments, de-risking renewable energy and energy efficiency investments, developing resilient energy infrastructure with smart grids, and knowledge and awareness building through capacity development. ETP works to triple renewable energy capacity and double energy efficiency measures while supporting coal phase-down financing and fostering cross-border power trade. The partnership mobilizes resources through dialogue, inclusive planning, technical assistance, and access to finance, ensuring an equitable energy transition aligned with the Paris Agreement and Sustainable Development Goals.
