Founded in 2017, Sun for Schools is a co-op headquartered in Brussels, Belgium specializing in Solar.

Sun for Schools is a project supported by the cooperative Enerschool and the non-profit Sunrise. The initiative provides free photovoltaic solar panel installations on school roofs, coupled with environmental education to mobilize and raise awareness among young people about climate change and renewable energy. The organization manages all aspects of installation including certification, green certificate sales, network injection management, and maintenance. Schools retain full ownership of installations and benefit from green certificates (CV) generated by their panels, with 1.81 CV per MWh produced (base rate). The project aims to help schools transition ecologically while inspiring next generations on sustainable living practices. For businesses, they offer support through their sister company Enerinvest.
