Founded in 2018, Tecc is a private headquartered in Berlin, Germany specializing in Solar.

Tecc is a proprietary interconnection technology developed by SOLYCO that replaces critical materials in solar module manufacturing. The Tecc-Connect technology uses thermoplastic and electrically conductive coating on metallic wires to connect solar cells without soldering, eliminating silver, lead, and bismuth—materials that account for over 10% of module material costs and create environmental and supply chain challenges. The technology is RoHS-compliant, enables mechanical and electrical connections with various surfaces, and is compatible with next-generation cell technologies including perovskite-tandem cells. SOLYCO is currently partnering with manufacturers to establish pilot production lines, with full commercial availability expected in 2026. The technology was nominated for the 2026 Deep Tech Awards.
