Tension Technology International (TTI) is an independent consultancy specialising in flexible tension member systems, including fibre ropes, wire ropes, chains, electro-mechanical cables and associated hardware, for the offshore and renewable energy sectors. Services include mooring analysis and design, rope and cable failure and accident investigation, expert witness and litigation support, independent materials testing, and design, specification and installation support for riser and conductor protection nets. TTI is the sole developer and distributor of the OPTIMOOR mooring analysis software, and develops OPTI-LIFE rope life prediction and the Fibre Rope Modeller (FRM). Through TTI Marine Renewables Ltd (Inverness), it provides station-keeping and mooring design services for floating offshore wind and marine renewable systems. TTI Testing Ltd operates a materials testing laboratory in Wallingford. Established in 1986, the group has offices across the UK, the Netherlands, India and the USA.
