About

Founded in 2014, Terts is a ngo headquartered in Gent, Belgium specializing in Energy Storage.

Terts is a cross-border initiative funded by the European Commission's Interreg 2014-2020 programme to drive the energy transition in the tertiary sector. The project works with municipalities, business associations, and local governments to identify, encourage, and support small and medium enterprises in hospitality, retail, and independent trades to invest in energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies. Terts provides tailored information through energy coaches, conducts energy audits at businesses, demonstrates innovative techniques via pilot projects, and shares lessons learned through ambassadors and digital marketplaces. The consortium comprises 10 partners including research institutions, cities, and intercommunales from Flanders and the Netherlands.
