Topcsp is a ngo headquartered in Spain specializing in Solar, Energy Storage.

Topcsp is a European doctoral network under the EU's Horizon Europe programme, dedicated to training the next generation of CSP researchers and engineers. The network comprises 10 beneficiary institutions and 8 associated partners, including leading research centres and industrial manufacturers in concentrated solar power technology. The programme establishes a comprehensive research and innovation framework organized into three work packages: (1) improving efficiency of conventional CSP plants with molten salt and direct steam generation; (2) developing high-temperature liquid receivers, novel power cycles, electrically heated molten salt reservoirs, and solar fuels production systems; (3) creating computational tools for CSP system design, optimization, and environmental assessment. Each of the 10 doctoral candidates receives supervision from multiple institutions during secondments and collaborative research activities. The network aims to accelerate the development of cost-competitive, reliable, safe, and environmentally sustainable CSP technologies capable of providing dispatchable renewable power and process heat for industrial applications.
