Traub Haustechnik GmbH is a family-owned heating, sanitation, and renewable energy contractor founded in 1977 by Peter Traub. The company evolved from a heating services business into a comprehensive haustechnik (home systems) firm covering heating, plumbing, solar thermal, photovoltaic, heat pumps, and water treatment. Since the mid-1980s, the company has focused on renewable energy technologies, installing its first solar systems in 1987 and its 100th pellet boiler in 2008. With over 200 biomass heating systems installed and thousands of square meters of solar installations (both thermal and photovoltaic), the company combines these with gas and oil condensing boilers. Dipl. Ing. Axel Traub, son of founder Peter, became certified as the first bioheat installer in Landkreis Esslingen through the Austrian Biomass Association. The company maintains service contracts with over 800 long-term customers and operates as part of TFG (Technologie für Generationen), a network of approximately 180 innovative environmental craftsmen nationwide. The company is among the top 50 members of this association and has been recognized as the best pellet and solar contractor in its region.
