About
Founded in 2023, ZEvRA is a ngo headquartered in Munich, Germany specializing in Other.
ZEvRA (Zero Emission electric Vehicles enabled by haRmonised circulArity) is a European research initiative focused on improving the circularity of light-duty electric vehicles throughout their entire value chain. The project develops a comprehensive Design for Circularity methodology and holistic circularity assessment framework, validated through eight zero-emission use cases covering 84% of automotive material mix (steel, aluminium, thermoplastics, composites, glass, tyres, rare earth elements). Key deliverables include digital tools for life cycle assessment, a circular vehicle prototype based on the Škoda Enyaq, manufacturing process adaptations, and a virtual reality demonstrator. The project integrates Life Cycle Assessment, Life Cycle Costing, and Social Life Cycle Assessment to measure environmental, economic, and social impacts. ZEvRA also develops training programs, circular business models for end-of-life management, and a market observatory to promote adoption of circular economy practices in the automotive sector. The consortium includes five major OEMs, leading European universities, and key value chain partners.
