About
Founded in 1937, Tromp is a dairy industry manufacturer based in Leeuwarden, Netherlands.
Tromp BV is an independent family business in Leeuwarden, Friesland, founded in 1937 and now led by Wiebe Tromp. It develops and produces custom premixes, mineral mixes, and mineral lick blocks for cattle, horses, sheep, goats and other animals. Cow-specific products include standard and custom mineral mixes, premixes added to concentrate feed, and the ZomerMix summer mix. Its main customers are feed manufacturers, feed traders and distributors, who supply farms. Tromp also supplies standard products with customers' own labels or packaging, sells trade goods and raw materials from stock, and states that it produces around 15,000 to 20,000 tonnes of mineral mixes, premixes and licks per year. Products are delivered within the Netherlands and abroad, with short lead times for stock items. The company states it uses traceable and natural raw materials and operates under a GMP certificate.
