Robin Radar Systems is a Dutch company specialising in the detection, classification and tracking of small airborne objects such as drones, birds and bats. It was spun out of TNO in 2010, building on radar research begun in 1980 for the Royal Netherlands Air Force to reduce bird strikes. Its main products are the IRIS and ELVIRA counter-UAS drone detection radars and the MAX avian radar. The company supplies defence, security, aviation and environmental customers, with a US office in Ashburn, Virginia. In 2024 it was acquired by the Dutch investment company Parcom. Robin reports 29 patents and ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications.
