Acción y Desarrollo is a non-profit association working on social development with justice and equality. Since 2008 it has worked to prevent gender-based violence in partnership with public and private institutions and communities in Junín, Huancavelica and metropolitan Lima. Its programmes cover the validation of community strategies to end gender violence, including work with men, and entrepreneurship and leadership education for secondary school students. It is recognised by the Peruvian Agency for International Cooperation (APCI).
