AIAL

Founded in 2009, AIAL is a non-profit association based in Lakki, Greece working on arts & culture, heritage, education.

AIAL (Amici di Leros) is an apolitical, non-profit cultural association founded in September 2009 and based in Lakki, Leros, Greece. It promotes cultural exchange between Italy and Greece, including Italian culture and the historical and architectural heritage of Leros and the Dodecanese, which retains traces of the Italian administration of the 1912–1943 period. Its activities include film screenings, exhibitions, publications, language courses, an online bibliography and a community ecological day. The association is open to Italian, Greek and other nationalities. It is registered with the Kos court and listed with the Italian consular chancery in Greece, the Greek Ministry of Culture and the South Aegean Region.
