APEB (Associação dos Portugueses Emigrados na Bélgica) is a non-profit association based in Ixelles, Brussels, founded in 1967 to support Portuguese emigrants and their families living in Belgium. Its activities include help with integration, including assistance with local administration and French classes, promotion of the Portuguese language and culture, and recreational, cultural and sports sections. It runs a children's Portuguese language activity, a folk dance group and a conversation programme, and says it aims to be apolitical and to respect all religious beliefs. Members pay membership fees, and the association also accepts donations.
