Aspace Cáceres

Aspace Cáceres is a non-profit association based in Cáceres, Spain working on disability, employment & skills.

Aspace Cáceres is a non-profit association of parents, guardians and carers of people with cerebral palsy and related disabilities in Cáceres, Extremadura, Spain. It was founded by a group of parents to secure rights, services and resources for people with disabilities. The association provides therapies, early childhood intervention, residential and day care, occupational and socio-labour integration programmes, and support and information for people with disabilities and their families. It operates seven centres across the province of Cáceres, including Cáceres, Plasencia, Jaraíz de la Vera, Moraleja, Trujillo, Pinofranqueado and Almoharín. Its family-led board is the decision-making body. The association is a founding member of the Extremadura Aspace federation and the national cerebral palsy confederation, and takes part in CERMI Extremadura. It is declared a public-benefit organisation (Utilidad Pública, 1993).
