Astronomsko društvo VEGA is an association based in Čakovec, Međimurje County, Croatia, founded in 2010. It brings together amateur astronomers and space enthusiasts from the Međimurje region and manages the public observatory in the suburban settlement of Savska Ves, which members use for regular observations and which is open to schools, local residents and youth groups on demand or at events. The society gives lectures for the public, schools and kindergartens, runs STEM popularisation and astronomy education projects, and takes part in the Global Meteor Network through a camera installed at the Technological-Innovation Centre Međimurje. Its stated aims include developing technical culture and astronomical activity, raising public awareness of light pollution and its harm to the environment and people, and organising competitions and events. The society publishes the science and education magazine Vega Horizonti and works in astrophotography. It is a member of the Međimurje County and City of Čakovec Technical Culture Community.
