Caritas Zagrebačke nadbiskupije is the diocesan charity of the Archdiocese of Zagreb, founded in 1933 and re-established in 1990. It is a Catholic church legal entity and a humanitarian, non-profit organisation. It provides social care services under contract with the Croatian Ministry of Labour, Pension System, Family and Social Policy, including children's homes, supported housing for people with disabilities, a shelter for homeless people, a home for victims of domestic violence and a home help service. It also runs a family counselling centre, a social food store, material aid distribution through a network of parish caritas groups, and volunteer coordination. Its work is based in the Zagreb archdiocese in Croatia, with cooperation across the country and abroad. It is a registered food donation intermediary and a recognised organiser of volunteering.
