Founded in 1982, Centre d'Education du Patient is a non-profit association based in Champion, Belgium working on health, addiction, mental health.

The Centre d'Education du Patient (CEP) is a non-profit association (asbl) approved by Wallonia, active in health promotion and prevention in French-speaking Belgium. Founded in 1982 out of a hospital patient education service, it works with health professionals, social workers, patients and their relatives. Its activities include training courses and awareness sessions on chronic diseases, cardiovascular risk, alcohol, cannabis and tobacco use, nutrition, health literacy and mental health. It also develops educational tools and communication materials, and supports partners in designing health promotion projects. The CEP runs cross-border European projects with partners in France and is accredited as a health promotion operator in Wallonia.
