Cerību spārni

Founded in 2003, Cerību spārni is a non-profit association based in Sigulda, Latvia working on disability, employment & skills.

Biedrība Cerību spārni is a Latvian association founded in Sigulda in 2003 by parents of children with disabilities. It is a public benefit organisation that provides social rehabilitation, day care, group homes, family assistance and respite services for children and adults with disabilities and mental disorders, mainly in Sigulda, Cēsis, Smiltene and Bauska municipalities, and supports people with disabilities across Latvia. Its specialised workshops (ceramics, weaving, candle and soap making, woodworking and others) let clients develop skills and sell their handmade products. The association runs the social enterprise Visi Var, a shop in Sigulda whose income funds its projects. It is funded by donations, municipal and EU funds and sales. Supporters can donate by bank transfer, become monthly donors, sponsor rooms, buy products, or volunteer. Donations may qualify for tax relief under Latvian law.
