Founded in 1997, Skalbes Krīžu un konsultāciju centrs is a non-profit association based in Rīga, Latvia working on mental health, justice & legal aid, addiction.

Biedrība Skalbes, known as the Crisis and Counselling Centre Skalbes, is a Latvian voluntary association founded in 1997 and granted public benefit status in 2005. It provides emotional and psychological support to people in crisis, including a 24-hour crisis helpline, individual and group counselling by psychologists and psychotherapists, and legal consultations for crime victims. It runs violence prevention and awareness programmes, supports people at risk of discrimination, and trains volunteers and professionals in crisis intervention. Its services are delivered mainly in Riga and across Latvia, and it works with state ministries, municipal authorities and funders. The organisation states that it aims to remain politically, religiously and nationalistically neutral.
