Cobeff

Founded in 1992, Cobeff is a non-profit association based in Bruxelles, Belgium working on employment & skills.

Cobeff (Coordination Bruxelloise pour l'Emploi et la Formation des Femmes) is a Brussels-based asbl founded in 1992. It functions as a socio-professional insertion organisation that welcomes, informs, trains and supports job seekers in their professional projects. Its main public is low-skilled women far from employment and in situations of high precarity, although it also works with men with limited schooling. It offers five training programmes: two qualifying trainings (Auxiliaire de l'enfance and Aide-soignant, co-organised with the CFCS adult education school) and three professional trainings (hospital cleaning and maintenance agent, institutional kitchen assistant, and polyvalent sales assistant). Trainees may also follow general education complements such as the CESS. The association works in partnership with pre-training centres, CPAS and Missions Locales, and operates the Restaurant Antoinette as a training and practice site.
