ComMedi is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organisation based in Greece and active across the Mediterranean and Europe. It works to develop and strengthen civil society, promote intercultural dialogue, and provide education and training. Its work covers active citizenship, peace and reconciliation, development education, human rights education, participation and European awareness, mainly for young people, students, educators and local communities. It runs Erasmus and Creative Europe training courses, local trainings with schools, municipalities and youth centres, and support for EU funded project proposals, including partner search and submission. Activities use non-formal and experiential learning, with certificates of attendance provided. The organisation is a social enterprise with a non-profit mission.
