DVD Bukovac is a voluntary, professional and humanitarian firefighting association based in the Bukovac district of Zagreb, Croatia, founded in 1950 and registered as an association of special interest to the Republic of Croatia. Its operational unit responds to fire, rescue and technical emergencies around the clock in Bukovac and the surrounding hills and in the wider city area when activated. Its services include search and rescue, height and depth rescue, tree removal, technical interventions, drone-based reconnaissance, flood pumping and fire-fighting in open areas, buildings and vehicles. It also runs fire-prevention education for schools, kindergartens and residents, youth firefighter training, and takes part in nature and environmental protection activities. The association is integrated into the Zagreb Firefighters Association system and is funded partly by the city budget and by public donations for equipment.
