Ekološki institut ECOLOGICA is a think tank based in Zagreb, Croatia working on environment & climate, nature & wildlife conservation.

Ekološki institut ECOLOGICA is an independent, non-profit organisation in Croatia that promotes sustainable and organic agriculture, nature protection, biodiversity, climate action and sustainable development. It conducts applied research, policy analysis, education, awareness-raising and advisory work, supporting farmers in transitioning to organic production and encouraging local, sustainable food systems. Its work includes monitoring and analysing European policies on nature, climate and agriculture, participating in public consultations, and advocating for policies that protect soil, water and pollinators. It runs projects such as FarmBioNet, which is funded under Horizon Europe, and the Academy of Organic Agriculture, and has worked with public institutions, including the City of Zagreb, on introducing organic food into schools and kindergartens. The organisation is based in Zagreb and operates mainly in Croatia, while taking part in international and European initiatives.
