FACE

Founded in 1977, FACE is a non-governmental organisation based in Brussels, Belgium working on nature & wildlife conservation, animal welfare, heritage.

FACE, the European Federation for Hunting and Conservation, is an international non-profit non-governmental organisation founded in 1977 by national hunting associations. It represents national hunters' associations from European countries, including all 27 EU Member States, and has its Secretariat in Brussels. FACE works on EU policy in areas such as nature directives, biodiversity, wildlife management, animal health, firearms regulation and hunting methods and culture, and promotes sustainable use and hunting as a conservation tool. It also runs the Biodiversity Manifesto platform and the FACE Patron Programme, and is accredited by UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage Convention to advise on hunting.
