Fonds Sibīrijas bērni is a Latvian foundation that supports and commemorates people deported from Latvia to Siberia in 1941 and 1949, with a focus on the children and mothers deported. Its work includes travelling exhibitions in schools, libraries and museums, public commemorative concerts and events, film and documentary production, publishing books based on survivor interviews, expeditions to former deportation sites in Russia, and student essay and drawing competitions. Founded and directed by filmmaker Dzintra Geka-Vaska, the foundation operates mainly in Latvia and also presents its work abroad, including in Germany, Estonia and the United States.
