Front Anti-Expulsions

Founded in 2020, Front Anti-Expulsions is a non-governmental organisation based in Brussels, Belgium working on housing & homelessness, human rights.

The Front Anti-Expulsions (Front tegen Uithuiszettingen) is a Brussels-based collective of people who campaign against home evictions and build a solidarity network for tenants and others facing eviction. It works in the Brussels-Capital Region, where it holds weekly drop-in sessions (permanences) for people threatened with eviction, supports occupants and tenants in eviction cases, and runs public campaigns, rallies and petitions calling for an end to evictions and for more affordable, decent housing. It also produces educational resources, including a guide to eviction procedures, a podcast and flyers, and runs the BalanceTonProprio campaign, in which tenants share their experiences of landlords. The collective has been active since 2020 and is funded through donations to an anti-eviction fund.
