Give Eur-Hope

Founded in 2010, Give Eur-Hope is a non-governmental organisation based in Forest, Belgium working on poverty & hunger, human rights, housing & homelessness.

GIVE EUR-HOPE is a Belgian non-profit association (ASBL) founded in 2010 by staff of the European Union institutions. It promotes the solidarity of EU staff with people living in poverty and social exclusion within the European Union. The association finances and follows up targeted microprojects run by NGOs and community groups working on the ground, including support for homeless services, children's activities and basic health, housing and training initiatives. Funding comes mainly from member subscriptions and gifts from colleagues, and the association states that every euro raised goes directly to beneficiaries. It operates on a volunteer basis and is independent of any political, religious or institutional affiliation. Projects are assessed by an internal Projects Group, approved by the Board and monitored through final reports and photographs.
