Healing Paws Animal Rescue

Founded in 2011, Healing Paws Animal Rescue is a charity based in Zakynthos, Greece working on animal welfare.

Healing Paws Animal Rescue is a registered UK charity and a registered non-profit in Greece. It rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes stray and abandoned dogs on the Greek island of Zakynthos, caring for them in a foster home on the island before transporting them to the UK for adoption. The charity also runs a UK foster care programme, sponsorship scheme and public education on the sterilisation of owned animals. It has rescued and rehabilitated over 2,000 dogs since it was founded in 2011, and plans to build a purpose-built rescue and rehabilitation centre on land it owns. The rescue is run by Sue Deeth with the help of a small team of volunteers.
