HRD BiOS

Founded in 2019, HRD BiOS is a non-profit association based in Slavonski Brod, Croatia working on mental health, children & youth, religion & faith.

HRD BiOS is a Croatian association of marriage and family counsellors, founded in 2019 with its seat in Slavonski Brod and membership drawn largely from diocesan counselling centres, marriage and family offices and Caritas services across Croatia. The association is a privately organised Catholic lay society recognised within the Church, and is also registered in the Croatian register of associations. It supports couples, families, individuals, divorced and remarried people, and children and young people, through counselling and psychotherapy delivered by member counsellors in diocesan centres. It also runs preventive and educational projects, public webinars, lectures and conferences, and offers training and supervision for counsellors and staff. Its work is grounded in Christian anthropology and Catholic teaching while respecting civil law and professional standards. Its funding comes from direct donations, membership, and project grants including co-financing from a regional government and Caritas.
