Human Rights Guide Network

Human Rights Guide Network is a non-profit network based in Riga, Latvia working on human rights, education, democracy & civil society.

The Human Rights Guide Network is a European network of human rights and civic organisations that builds and manages the Human Rights Guide, a multilingual, user-centred platform explaining how human rights work in everyday personal and professional situations. The Guide helps citizens, professionals, educators and learners understand their rights, apply them, and find where to complain or seek help when rights may have been violated. It also offers resources such as knowledge assessments, infographics and case summaries. The network was founded in 2012 as a Baltic initiative by Riga-based Baltic Human Rights Society and now represents countries across Europe, with the Guide available in 11 European countries and used internationally. Its activities include collaborative content creation, designing tools, dissemination, advocating human rights education and strengthening the network.
