Humanitarna udruga Duga Vukovar is a non-profit, humanitarian non-governmental association based in Vukovar, Croatia. Founded on 31 May 2013, it works to improve quality of life and protect human rights, with a focus on the most vulnerable groups, especially people at risk of poverty and older people. Its main activities include the Socijalna samoposluga Vukovar, which provides food and hygiene packages, a programme for active and healthy ageing for older people, and the coordination of the food bank for Vukovar-Srijem County. The association also runs volunteer and youth programmes, participates in food donation and food waste prevention advocacy through the Mreža hrane network, and carries out research and awareness projects on sustainable development and philanthropy. It is supported by donors, partners, the City of Vukovar and EU-co-financed projects.
