Jak kao Jakov is a humanitarian association based in Karlovac, Croatia, founded on 6 February 2011. It was established in memory of Jakov Rubido, a boy who died of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. The association raises funds and provides assistance to children with malignant diseases and their socially vulnerable families across Croatia, with support reaching around 400 children. Its activities include annual charity concerts (Njima na dar), psychological support, creative programmes, picture books, school awareness work and its own products. Membership is free for child members and their parents, and volunteers take part in its activities.
