Founded in 1923, Latvijas Bibliotekāru biedrība is a non-profit association based in Rīga, Latvia working on arts & culture, education, heritage.

Latvijas Bibliotekāru biedrība (Library Association of Latvia) is an independent, voluntary professional association founded in 1923 that brings together library and information sector specialists, along with institutions and individuals working in adjacent and creative fields. It works to develop the library sector in Latvia, promote the library profession, take part in drafting library legislation, and organise professional events, awards and national library promotion such as Library Week. It operates nationally through five regional divisions (Vidzeme, Zemgale, Kurzeme, Sēlija and Latgale) and thematic sections, and represents Latvian libraries in IFLA and EBLIDA.
