Founded in 1993, Latvijas virves vilkšanas federācija is a non-profit association based in Brocēni, Latvia working on sport for development, children & youth.

The Latvian Tug of War Federation is a non-profit association that develops tug of war as a sport in Latvia. It organises national championships, cups and public tug of war competitions for youth, junior and adult athletes, and promotes a healthy, active lifestyle among young people. The federation trains and certifies referees, coaches and instructors, applies international competition rules, and represents Latvia in the International Tug of War Federation (TWIF), which it joined in 1994. It operates from Brocēni, Saldus municipality.
