Founded in 2011, Latvijas Zīdīšanas veicināšanas konsultantu asociācija is a non-profit association based in Salaspils, Latvia working on health, children & youth.

The Latvian Association of Breastfeeding Promotion Consultants (LZVKA) is a Latvian non-profit association founded in 2011. It aims to improve public health by increasing the number of children in Latvia who are breastfed. Its work includes training and certifying breastfeeding consultants, running continuing education through its adult learning centre ZIDIT.LV, providing free parent education and consultations, conducting research on breastfeeding and breast milk substitute marketing, and advising Latvian legislative and executive authorities and NGOs. It also supports families with psychological support groups and works with healthcare institutions, professional bodies and international networks such as ELACTA. The association operates in Latvia and offers breastfeeding consultations across regions.
