Lauku partnerība ZIEMEĻGAUJA is a Latvian association and local action group (VRG) operating under the LEADER programme in the Ziemeļvidzeme (Northern Vidzeme) area, with its office in Trikāta, Valmiera district. It supports sustainable territorial development and better quality of life and environment for residents by administering LEADER funding calls for local projects, including business development, community initiatives, cultural heritage and small-project competitions. It also runs knowledge exchange study trips for rural entrepreneurs and local action groups, promotes local food and tourism through the Ziemeļzemes kods gastrotourism network, and takes part in the Viedais ciems community recognition. Its work is funded by the Latvian state budget, the EU European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Sabiedrības integrācijas fonds.
