Legal Centre Lesvos is a civil non-profit organisation registered in Greece, operating a collectively structured team of lawyers, interpreters and human rights defenders. Since 2016 it has provided free legal aid to migrants who arrived by sea on Lesvos, including people in the asylum procedure, people who have faced human rights violations, and people facing criminal charges. It also documents violations of migrants' rights, reports on conditions for migrants in Lesvos and Greece, and engages in advocacy and strategic litigation against Greek and EU migration policies, including campaigning for safe and legal routes of migration.
