About
Lesbival is a community organisation based in Belgium working on lgbtq+, arts & culture, community development.
Lesbival is a volunteer-run camping festival for and by queer people, held over a weekend in June in Belgium. It began in 2020 among a group of friends and is organised by a loose group of volunteers and attendees rather than a formally registered entity. The organisers state that they make no profit and are not a commercial organisation. Activities include workshops, parties, shared meals and community events, with ticket holders expected to complete one volunteer shift. The festival sets a code of conduct, provides Floor Angels for safety support and a quiet space for people who need it, and aims to become more diverse and inclusive.
