Ministarstvo prostora (Ministry of Space) is a Belgrade-based civil society collective that works to make urban planning more participatory and accessible to citizens in Serbia. It supports local self-organised citizen groups resisting spatial interventions that do not serve their communities, through workshops, training and planning tools. The organisation analyses laws, plans and projects, monitors public consultations and publishes guides on reading urban plans and submitting objections. It runs citizens' assemblies on urban planning, maintains a digital platform tracking Belgrade's plans and projects, and advocates for housing as a human right, climate-responsive planning and the protection of green space and public property. Its work is directed at residents of Belgrade and other communities across Serbia.
