Pro Humanus is a non-profit association founded in Lima, Peru, in 2004. It supports initiatives in mainly disadvantaged regions of Peru in the fields of culture, education and health, with children at the centre of its work. Its main activities are teacher training in Waldorf pedagogy, including the Especialización en Pedagogía Waldorf en el Perú, pedagogical support for schools and kindergartens through the Schule unterwegs project, and artistic-pedagogical accompaniment of children with cancer in a state hospital in Lima. It also supports an ecological agricultural project in Ollantaytambo and works with other Peruvian institutions and Latin American teacher-training networks. Support is raised through donations, with support groups in Germany and Switzerland.
