Providus is a non-governmental, non-partisan, non-profit public policy think tank based in Riga, Latvia, founded in 2002. It conducts research, monitoring and evaluation of public policy, promotes evidence-based decision-making and open society values, and organises public discussions, consultations and training. Its work covers democracy and elections, good governance and anti-corruption, migration and integration, EU affairs and civil society, serving Latvian state institutions, NGOs, municipalities and citizens. It also carries out international projects in the Eastern Partnership and Central Asia region.
