Roulotte Verte et Compagnie

Roulotte Verte et Compagnie is a non-profit association based in Verdenne, Belgium working on arts & culture, community development, education.

Roulotte Verte et Compagnie is a Belgian asbl and professional theatre-action company based in Verdenne, near Marche-en-Famenne in Wallonia. Founded as a theatre company that began with children's workshops, it runs collective creation workshops for children, youth and adults, and creates its own professional productions through collective processes. It tours rural areas of Wallonia, particularly the Luxembourg and Liège provinces, using horse-drawn caravans (roulottes) and a mobile, low-impact approach to performance. Its shows are generally offered on a pay-what-you-want basis, and it works in partnership with cultural centres, youth centres and local communities to reach audiences who have limited access to cultural life. The company also acts as an incubator for emerging artists.
