Save Ios is a non-profit association of residents, friends and supporters of Ios, a Greek island in the Cyclades. It advocates sustainable, environmentally respectful development on the island that benefits residents, locals, visitors and employees, and keeps its beaches and natural areas publicly accessible. Its work includes legal action against projects it considers unlawful, objections to investment proposals such as Pikri Nero and Koumbara-Diakofto, spatial planning studies, environmental restoration efforts, and cultural and ecological events. The association was approved by the Magistrates Court in Athens under Decision No. 74/2020 and is registered in Athens.
