Solidum is a non-profit association (vereniging zonder winstoogmerk) that runs a group of eight recognised residential care centres (woonzorgcentra) in Vlaams-Brabant, Belgium. It offers residential care, short-stay services, home care, day care and assisted living for older people with care or support needs. Its services are rooted in Christian values inherited from the Zwartzusters Augustinessen van Halle, and it aims to create a homely living environment in which residents keep their autonomy, social life and place in society. The organisation works closely with families, carers and external care partners, and integrates into local communities through neighbourhood work.
